The Cave Spring Knights basketball team (Roanoke, VA), was nudged 50-44 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Fleming Colonels (Roanoke, VA)
The Colonels now possess a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge battle on Monday, February 5. Fleming will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 65-61 league win over William Byrd (Vinton, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 8-12.
The Knights (12-8) will now prepare for their battle against Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA). The Titans come into the River Ridge battle with a 8-13 record. In their last battle, Hidden Valley was nudged by Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA), 56-53, in a league battle.
