Nebraska High School Basketball - Gering falls to Chase County

In Saturday's non-league match, the host Chase County Longhorns basketball team scored a good 67-58 triumph over the Gering Bulldogs.

In their next game, the Longhorns meet the Gothenburg Swedes (Gothenburg, NE) in a C1 District 11 match, on Monday, February 5. Chase County will attempt to better on its 10-9 season record. The Swedes enter the match with a 14-5 record after their 71-48 non-league win over Minden (Minden, NE).

With the defeat, Gering moves to 6-12 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Mitchell (Mitchell, NE) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 6. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 13-8. Mitchell lost 68-62 in their recent non-league challenge against Bridgeport (Bridgeport, NE)
