The Clay Eagles (Oregon, OH) basketball nipped the visiting Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), 52-45 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Eagles (10-6) will now prepare for their test against Bowsher (Toledo, OH). The BlueRacers go into the non-league test with a 4-13 record. In their last test, Bowsher got by Woodward (Toledo, OH), 66-35, in a league test.
The Tornadoes now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Anthony Wayne for a non-league test on Tuesday, February 6. Columbian will meet a Generals team coming off a 58-47 league win over Clay (Oregon, OH). The Generals record now stands at 7-9.
