The Wayzata Trojans basketball team scored 63 points and held the host DeLaSalle Islanders to 62 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Trojans now sport a 18-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Buffalo for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Wayzata will meet a Bison team coming off a 77-41 non-league loss to Hopkins (Minnetonka, MN). The Bison record now stands at 10-8.
The Islanders (12-7) will now prepare for their contest against Academy of Holy Angels (Richfield, MN). The Stars enter the non-league contest with a 6-15 record. In their last contest, Academy of Holy Angels nudged Columbia Heights (Columbia Heights, MN), 92-77, in a non-league contest.
