In Saturday's non-league outing, the Dufur Rangers (Dufur, OR) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Lyle Cougars (Lyle, WA), by a margin of 79-55.
The Rangers (17-2) will now prepare for their outing against Lyle/Wishram (Lyle, WA). The Cougars go into the 1A Big Sky outing with a 6-8 record. In their last outing, Lyle/Wishram smashed Klickitat-Glenwood (Klickitat, WA), 65-33, in a league outing.
The Cougars now own a 2-3 record. They play next when they travel to Sherman for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. Lyle will clash with a Huskies squad coming off a 48-29 league win over Condon (Condon, OR). The Huskies record now stands at 22-0.
