Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Tech Panthers (Newark, NJ) and the visiting Elmwood Park Crusaders (Elmwood Park, NJ), saw Tech's basketball squad hold off Elmwood Park by a tally of 33-28.

With the victory, Tech improves its record to 4-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Lincoln (Jersey City, NJ) to play the Lions in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 3. The Lions come into the challenge with a record of 4-20. Lincoln lost 61-20 in their recent league challenge against Bayonne (Bayonne, NJ)

Next up, the Crusaders play the Midland Park Panthers (Midland Park, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Elmwood Park will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 45-41 non-league win over Bergen Charter (Hackensack, NJ).
