Fall Creek Crickets (Fall Creek, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Melrose-Mindoro Mustangs (Melrose, WI), 74-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Fall Creek upgrades its record to 10-9 on the season. The Crickets travel to Bloomer (Bloomer, WI) to clash with the Blackhawks in a Cloverbelt - West bout on Thursday, February 8. The Blackhawks go into the bout with a record of 17-1.

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Luther Knights (Onalaska, WI) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Melrose-Mindoro will attempt to upgrade on its 8-10 season record. The Knights go into the bout with a 12-4 record after their 85-50 league win over Black River Falls (Black River Falls, WI).
