The Friendship Tech Prep Academy Titans (Washington, DC) basketball nipped the host Gwynn Park Yellowjackets (Brandywine, MD), 52-51 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Titans (16-4) will now prepare for their test against Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC). The Knights go into the PCSAA AA test with a 8-12 record. In their last test, Friendship Collegiate Academy was tipped by Archbishop Carroll (Washington, DC), 79-46, in a non-league test.
The Yellowjackets now own a 16-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chesapeake Math & IT Academy South for a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A test on Tuesday, February 6. Gwynn Park will encounter a squad coming off a 67-56 league loss to Douglass (Upper Marlboro, MD). The record now stands at 3-10.
