The Geneva Vikings basketball team scored 62 points and restricted the visiting Lakes Eagles to 42 in the Vikings non-league victory on Saturday.
The Vikings now sport a 13-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wheaton North for a DuKane contest on Wednesday, February 7. Geneva will battle a Falcons squad coming off a 55-44 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Falcons record now stands at 15-10.
Next up, the Eagles clash with the Grayslake Central Rams (Grayslake, IL) in a Northern Lake County bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Lakes will attempt to upgrade on its 11-15 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 17-8 record after their 53-46 non-league loss to Maine East (Park Ridge, IL).
