Pennsylvania High School Basketball - McDowell trounces Grand River Academy

The McDowell Trojans (Erie, PA) basketball crushed the visiting Grand River Academy (Austinburg, OH), 70-49 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Trojans (14-3) will now prepare for their test against Fort LeBoeuf (Waterford, PA). The Bison go into the District 10 Region 7 test with a 6-12 record. In their last test, Fort LeBoeuf was trounced by Cathedral Prep (Erie, PA), 82-50, in a league test.
The now own a 8-1 record. They play next when they host Lake Ridge Academy for a Lake Effect test on Monday, February 5. Grand River Academy will encounter a Royals squad coming off a 66-65 non-league win over Temple Christian (Mansfield, OH). The Royals record now stands at 3-14.
