Virginia High School Basketball - Meadowbrook can't hold off Grassfield

The Grassfield Grizzlies basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Meadowbrook Monarchs to 59 in the Grizzlies non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Grizzlies now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lakeland for a Southeastern contest on Tuesday, February 6.
The Monarchs (4-14) will now prepare for their contest against Prince George (Prince George, VA). The Royals enter the Central contest with a 2-17 record. In their last contest, Prince George was nudged by Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA), 69-50, in a league contest.
