Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Haldane Blue Devils (Cold Spring, NY) and the host Spackenkill Spartans (Poughkeepsie, NY), saw Haldane's basketball squad knock off Spackenkill by a tally of 58-48.

With the victory, Haldane improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Blue Devils host Croton-Harmon (Croton on Hudson, NY) to play the Tigers in a Section 1 Conference 3A challenge on Monday, February 5. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 7-8.

Next up, the Spartans play the Mount Academy Eagles (Esopus, NY) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Spackenkill will attempt to improve on its 12-3 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 12-1 record after their 49-44 league win over Dover (Dover Plains, NY).
