Henry-Senachwine Mallards (Henry, IL) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Leland Panthers (Leland, IL), 50-26 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Henry-Senachwine upgrades its record to 9-14 on the campaign. The Mallards host Stark County (Toulon, IL) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Rebels come into the bout with a record of 15-10. Stark County lost 39-28 in their recent non-league bout against Abingdon/Avon (Abingdon, IL)

Next up, the Panthers play the Woodland Warriors (Streator, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, February 7. Leland will attempt to upgrade on its 8-16 season record. The Warriors come into the bout with a 16-10 record after their 76-14 non-league win over Tri-Point (Cullom, IL).
