In Saturday's non-league game, the visiting Lawrence County Bulldogs basketball team scored a good 71-54 triumph over the Lewis County Lions.
In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Floyd Central Jaguars (Eastern, KY) in a District 58 game, on Tuesday, February 6. Lawrence County will attempt to move on its 18-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the game with a 9-11 record after their 107-83 league win over Prestonsburg (Prestonsburg, KY).
With the defeat, Lewis County moves to 5-12 on the year. The Lions travel to West Carter (Olive Hill, KY) to face the Comets in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 6. The Comets enter the game with a record of 7-13. West Carter lost 91-52 in their recent non-league game against Russell (Russell, KY)
