Lennox Orioles (Lennox, SD) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), 55-39 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lennox upgrades its record to 10-4 on the season. The Orioles host Tri-Valley (Colton, SD) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 5-9. Tri-Valley lost 56-52 in their recent league bout against Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD)

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Parker Pheasants (Parker, SD) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Viborg/Hurley will attempt to upgrade on its 11-3 season record. The Pheasants go into the bout with a 4-11 record after their 57-37 non-league loss to Hanson (Alexandria, SD).
