Lewis Mills Spartans (Burlington, CT) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Litchfield Cowboys (Litchfield, CT), 66-34 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Lewis Mills upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Spartans travel to Maloney (Meriden, CT) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-10. Maloney lost 69-62 in their recent league bout against Platt (Meriden, CT)

Next up, the Cowboys clash with the Housatonic-Wamogo Mountaineers (Falls Village, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Litchfield will attempt to upgrade on its 8-11 season record. The Mountaineers go into the bout with a 3-13 record after their 47-34 non-league win over Mount Everett Regional (Sheffield, MA).
