With the victory, Sunrise Christian Academy upgrades its record to 2-9 on the campaign. The Buffaloes travel to Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE) to play the Thunderbirds in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 10. The Thunderbirds come into the challenge with a record of 16-1.

Next up, the Blue Tornado play the Knoxville Catholic Fighting Irish (Knoxville, TN) in a Division II-AA East challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. McCallie will attempt to upgrade on its 15-7 season record. The Fighting Irish come into the challenge with a 13-10 record after their 65-52 league loss to Webb (Knoxville, TN).
