Menomonee Falls Phoenix (Menomonee Falls, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host West Bend West Spartans (West Bend, WI), 55-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Menomonee Falls upgrades its record to 9-8 on the season. The Phoenix travel to Hamilton (Sussex, WI) to play the Chargers in a Greater Metro bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Chargers go into the bout with a record of 14-5. Hamilton won 55-47 in their recent non-league bout against Middleton (Middleton, WI)

Next up, the Spartans play the Cedarburg Bulldogs (Cedarburg, WI) in a North Shore bout, on Tuesday, February 6. West Bend West will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 12-6 record after their 79-74 league win over Nicolet (Glendale, WI).
