Mercer Christian Academy Cavaliers (Princeton, WV) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Tazewell Bulldogs (Tazewell, VA), 65-36 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mercer Christian Academy upgrades its record to 11-10 on the season. The Cavaliers travel to Victory Baptist Academy (Beaver, WV) to clash with the Saints in a West Virginia Christian - AA bout on Monday, February 5. The Saints go into the bout with a record of 13-7. Victory Baptist Academy lost 55-49 in their recent league bout against Grace Christian (Huntington, WV)

Next up, the Bulldogs clash with the Marion Scarlet Hurricanes (Marion, VA) in a Southwest bout, on Monday, February 5. Tazewell will attempt to upgrade on its 2-15 season record. The Scarlet Hurricanes go into the bout with a 13-7 record after their 62-60 league win over Graham (Bluefield, VA).
