Illinois High School Basketball - Metea Valley can't hold off Romeoville

The Romeoville Spartans basketball team scored 60 points and restricted the visiting Metea Valley Mustangs to 59 in the Spartans non-league victory on Saturday.
The Spartans now sport a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Plainfield North for a SouthWest Prairie contest on Wednesday, February 7. Romeoville will battle a Tigers team coming off a 74-70 non-league win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL). The Tigers record now stands at 15-13.
The Mustangs (17-9) will now prepare for their contest against Yorkville (Yorkville, IL). The Foxes come into the non-league contest with a 16-10 record. In their last contest, Yorkville edged Plainfield East (Plainfield, IL), 69-59, in a league contest.
