Unalaska Raiders (Unalaska, AK) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Nenana Lynx (Nenana, AK), 60-27 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Unalaska upgrades its record to 1-2 on the campaign. The Raiders host Cook Inlet Academy (Soldotna, AK) to play the Eagles in a non-league bout on Friday, February 16. The Eagles come into the bout with a record of 14-2.

Next up, the Lynx play the Valdez Buccaneers (Valdez, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Nenana will attempt to upgrade on its 1-10 season record. The Buccaneers come into the bout with a 13-2 record after their 47-32 league win over Ben Eielson (Eielson AFB, AK).
