The Northridge Polar Bears basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Thurgood Marshall Cougars to 36 in the Polar Bears non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Polar Bears now sport a 11-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Milton-Union for a Three Rivers contest on Friday, February 9. Northridge will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 50-43 league win over Bethel (Tipp City, OH). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-15.

The Cougars (7-12) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Huber Heights, OH). The Warriors enter the non-league contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Wayne triumphed over Springfield (Springfield, OH), 54-29, in a league contest.
