Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) and the visiting Radford Bobcats (Radford, VA), saw Northside's basketball squad wallop Radford by a tally of 75-50.

With the victory, Northside improves its record to 18-3 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to William Byrd (Vinton, VA) to play the Terriers in a Blue Ridge challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Terriers come into the challenge with a record of 11-9. William Byrd lost 65-61 in their recent league challenge against Staunton River (Moneta, VA)

Next up, the Bobcats play the Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Monday, February 5. Radford will attempt to improve on its 9-8 season record. The Buffaloes come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 47-44 league win over Alleghany (Covington, VA).
