With the victory, Whitley County improves its record to 17-6 on the campaign. The Colonels host Williamsburg (Williamsburg, KY) to confront the Yellowjackets in a District 50 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Yellowjackets come into the challenge with a record of 11-11.

Next up, the Owls / Lady Owls confront the Leslie County Eagles (Hyden, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 5. Owsley County will attempt to improve on its 7-19 season record.
