Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Roxbury Gaels (Succasunna, NJ), 54-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pequannock upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Golden Panthers host Hanover Park (East Hanover, NJ) to clash with the Hornets in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 12-7.

Next up, the Gaels confront the Mount Olive Marauders (Flanders, NJ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 8. Roxbury will attempt to improve on its 10-9 season record.
