The Waconia Wildcats basketball team scored 83 points and held the host Prior Lake Lakers to 75 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Wildcats now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Louis Park for a AAAA Section 6 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Waconia will meet a Orioles team coming off a 90-62 non-league loss to Orono (Long Lake, MN). The Orioles record now stands at 9-9.
The Lakers (8-10) will now prepare for their contest against Burnsville (Burnsville, MN). The Blaze enter the non-league contest with a 3-15 record. In their last contest, Burnsville ran past Apple Valley (Apple Valley, MN), 56-52, in a league contest.
