The Weld Central Rebels basketball team scored 46 points and held the visiting Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs to 40 in the Rebels non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Rebels now sport a 10-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Sterling for a 4A Patriot contest on Tuesday, February 6. Weld Central will meet a Tigers team coming off a 50-43 league win over Eaton (Eaton, CO). The Tigers record now stands at 13-6.

The Bulldogs (6-12) will now prepare for their contest against Pueblo South (Pueblo, CO). The Colts enter the 5A/4A South Central contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Pueblo South nudged Pueblo East (Pueblo, CO), 72-43, in a league contest.
