The Sandy Spring Friends Wildebeests (Sandy Spring, MD) basketball knocked off the host St. Albans Bulldogs (Washington, DC), 87-79 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Wildebeests (18-5) will now prepare for their test against Washington Waldorf (Bethesda, MD). The go into the Potomac Valley test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Washington Waldorf notched a victory over Washington International (Washington, DC), 41-30, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they host St. Stephen's & St. Agnes for a Interstate Athletic test on Tuesday, February 6. St. Albans will encounter a Saints squad coming off a 70-63 league win over Landon (Bethesda, MD). The Saints record now stands at 12-9.
