The Shawnee Braves (Springfield, OH) basketball nipped the host Stebbins Indians (Riverside, OH), 39-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Braves (12-7) will now prepare for their test against Indian Lake (Lewistown, OH). The Lakers go into the Central Buckeye Conference - Mad River test with a 15-4 record. In their last test, Indian Lake got by Benjamin Logan (Bellefontaine, OH), 75-24, in a league test.
The Indians now own a 13-7 record. They play next when they travel to Butler for a Miami Valley - Valley test on Friday, February 9. Stebbins will encounter a Aviators squad coming off a 58-56 non-league loss to Gamble Montessori (Cincinnati, OH). The Aviators record now stands at 10-9.
