In Saturday's non-league outing, the Santa Teresa Desert Warriors (Santa Teresa, NM) basketball squad nipped the host Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), by a margin of 37-35.
The Desert Warriors (2-0) will now prepare for their outing against Silver (Silver City, NM). The Fighting Colts go into the non-league outing with a 0-4 record.
The Tigers now own a 1-8 record.
