In Saturday's non-league outing, the Absegami Braves (Galloway, NJ) basketball squad beat the host Donovan Catholic Griffins (Toms River, NJ), by a margin of 46-33.
The Braves (10-10) will now prepare for their outing against Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ). The Mustangs go into the non-league outing with a 20-1 record. In their last outing, Mainland Regional was topped by St. John-Vianney (Holmdel, NJ), 77-41, in a non-league outing.
The Griffins now own a 6-13 record. They play next when they travel to Long Branch for a non-league outing on Wednesday, February 7. Donovan Catholic will clash with a Green Wave squad coming off a 56-13 non-league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, NJ). The Green Wave record now stands at 6-14.
