Illinois High School Basketball - Alton knocked off by Lincoln

February 3, 2024: Alton, IL 62002

The Lincoln Railsplitters basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Alton Redbirds to 49 in the Railsplitters non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Railsplitters now sport a 30-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Normal University for a Central State Eight contest on Tuesday, February 6.

The Redbirds (26-2) will now prepare for their contest against Belleville East (Belleville, IL). The Lancers enter the Southwestern contest with a 8-17 record. In their last contest, Belleville East was defeated by Mater Dei (Breese, IL), 61-38, in a non-league contest.
