Ferndale Golden Eagles (Ferndale, WA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Anacortes Seahawks (Anacortes, WA), 46-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Ferndale upgrades its record to 10-10 on the season. The Golden Eagles host Monroe (Monroe, WA) to clash with the Bearcats in a non-league bout on Thursday, February 8. The Bearcats go into the bout with a record of 10-8.

Next up, the Seahawks clash with the Burlington-Edison Tigers (Burlington, WA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, February 8. Anacortes will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 59-22 league win over Bellingham (Bellingham, WA).
