Jefferson Saints (Edgewater, CO) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Arvada Bulldogs (Arvada, CO), 61-29 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Jefferson upgrades its record to 11-3 on the campaign. The Saints travel to Platte Canyon (Bailey, CO) to play the Huskies in a 3A Frontier bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Huskies come into the bout with a record of 9-3. Platte Canyon won 47-13 in their recent league bout against Lake County (Leadville, CO)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Englewood Pirates (Englewood, CO) in a 4A Frontier bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Arvada will attempt to upgrade on its 10-8 season record. The Pirates come into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 31-30 non-league win over Bruce Randolph (Denver, CO).
