Seward Bluejays (Seward, NE) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Blair Bears (Blair, NE), 51-16 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Seward upgrades its record to 11-7 on the season. The Bluejays travel to Fairbury (Fairbury, NE) to play the Jeffs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Jeffs go into the bout with a record of 7-13. Fairbury lost 34-25 in their recent non-league bout against Superior (Superior, NE)

Next up, the Bears play the Elkhorn Antlers (Elkhorn, NE) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Blair will attempt to upgrade on its 7-9 season record. The Antlers go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 58-26 non-league win over Hastings (Hastings, NE).
