In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Central Dauphin Rams basketball team scored a decisive 53-28 triumph over the Hempfield Black Knights.

In their next game, the Rams meet the Cumberland Valley Eagles (Mechanicsburg, PA) in a Mid-Penn - Commonwealth match, on Monday, February 5. Central Dauphin will attempt to better on its 17-2 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 6-13 record after their 56-43 league win over Harrisburg (Harrisburg, PA).

With the defeat, Hempfield moves to 7-10 on the year.
