Central/Southeastern Panthers (Camp Point, IL) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Palmyra Panthers (Palmyra, MO), 52-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Central/Southeastern upgrades its record to 23-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Hamilton (West Hancock, IL) to clash with the Titans in a bout on Tuesday, February 6. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 21-4. Hamilton won 47-37 in their recent league bout against Beardstown (Beardstown, IL)

Next up, the Panthers clash with the Monroe City Panthers (Monroe City, MO) in a Clarence Cannon bout, on Tuesday, February 6. Palmyra will attempt to upgrade on its 14-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 10-10 record after their 55-42 non-league loss to Hannibal (Hannibal, MO).
