Colorado High School Basketball - Del Norte knocked off by Sargent

The Sargent Farmers basketball team scored 44 points and held the host Del Norte Tigers to 31 in the Farmers league triumph on Saturday.

The Farmers now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Sanford for a 3A/2A Southern Peaks contest on Friday, February 9. Sargent will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 36-25 league win over Trinidad (Trinidad, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-4.

The Tigers (8-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monte Vista (Monte Vista, CO). The Pirates enter the 3A/2A Southern Peaks contest with a 10-1 record. In their last contest, Monte Vista ran past Center (Center, CO), 49-36, in a league contest.
