Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Etowah Eagles (Woodstock, GA) and the host Sandy Creek Patriots (Tyrone, GA), saw Etowah's basketball squad overcome Sandy Creek by a tally of 46-36.

With the victory, Etowah improves its record to 13-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Allatoona (Acworth, GA) to confront the Buccaneers in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Tuesday, February 6. The Buccaneers come into the challenge with a record of 0-16. Allatoona lost 68-23 in their recent league challenge against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA)

Next up, the Patriots confront the Carver Panthers (Atlanta, GA) in a AAA Region 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Sandy Creek will attempt to improve on its 8-14 season record.
