Freehold Township Patriots (Freehold, NJ) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lacey Township Lions (Lanoka Harbor, NJ), 51-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Freehold Township upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Patriots host Barnegat (Barnegat, NJ) to clash with the Bengals in a non-league bout on Monday, February 5. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 9-9. Barnegat won 38-34 in their recent non-league bout against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ)

Next up, the Lions clash with the Brick Township Green Dragons (Brick, NJ) in a Shore A - South bout, on Friday, February 9. Lacey Township will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record.
