In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Norwich Free Academy Wildcats basketball team scored a tight 51-44 triumph over the Hand Tigers.

In their next game, the Wildcats meet the Lyman Memorial Bulldogs (Lebanon, CT) in a non-league match, on Monday, February 5. Norwich Free Academy will attempt to better on its 11-7 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 11-5 record after their 41-34 league win over St. Bernard (Uncasville, CT).

With the defeat, Hand moves to 6-11 on the year. The Tigers travel to Branford (Branford, CT) to meet the Hornets in a Southern Connecticut - Hammonasset match on Tuesday, February 6.
