Missouri High School Basketball - Monroe City knocked off by Hannibal

The Hannibal Pirates basketball team scored 55 points and held the host Monroe City Panthers to 42 in the Pirates non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Pirates now sport a 10-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Quincy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 6. Hannibal will battle a Blue Devils team coming off a 41-22 league loss to East Moline United (East Moline, IL). The Blue Devils record now stands at 22-6.
The Panthers (10-10) will now prepare for their contest against Palmyra (Palmyra, MO). The Panthers enter the Clarence Cannon contest with a 14-4 record. In their last contest, Palmyra was defeated by Central/Southeastern (Camp Point, IL), 52-37, in a non-league contest.
