In Saturday's non-league outing, the Homestead Highlanders (Mequon, WI) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Kaukauna Galloping Ghosts (Kaukauna, WI), by a count of 88-54.

The Highlanders (16-5) will now prepare for their outing against Port Washington (Port Washington, WI). The Pirates go into the North Shore outing with a 6-12 record. In their last outing, Port Washington was crushed by Hartford (Hartford, WI), 82-52, in a league outing.

The Galloping Ghosts now hold a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Fond du Lac for a Fox Valley outing on Monday, February 5. Kaukauna will clash with a Cardinals squad coming off a 62-53 league loss to Oshkosh West (Oshkosh, WI). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-15.
