South Dakota High School Basketball - Jones County topples North Central

In Saturday's non-league outing, the Jones County Coyotes (Murdo, SD) basketball squad beat the host North Central Thunder (Eureka, SD), by a margin of 43-27.

The Coyotes (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Philip (Philip, SD). The Scotties go into the B Region 7 outing with a 8-6 record. In their last outing, Philip was beaten by Leola/Frederick (Leola, SD), 49-41, in a non-league outing.

The Thunder now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they host McIntosh for a non-league outing on Monday, February 5. North Central will clash with a Tigers squad coming off a 78-21 non-league loss to Richardton-Taylor (Richardton, ND). The Tigers record now stands at 1-11.
