Iowa High School Basketball - Knoxville knocked off by Newton

The Newton Cardinals basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Knoxville Panthers to 42 in the Cardinals non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Cardinals now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Webster City for a non-league contest on Monday, February 5.
The Panthers (9-8) will now prepare for their contest against Oskaloosa (Oskaloosa, IA). The Indians enter the non-league contest with a 8-8 record. In their last contest, Oskaloosa was outscored by Newton (Newton, IA), 46-32, in a league contest.
