The Lee County Bobcats basketball team (Beattyville, KY), was nudged 41-39 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Sayre Spartans (Lexington, KY)
The Spartans now possess a 5-19 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lexington Catholic for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 3.
The Bobcats (3-13) will now prepare for their battle against Buckhorn (Buckhorn, KY). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 6-16 record. In their last battle, Buckhorn edged June Buchanan (Pippa Passes, KY), 47-37, in a non-league battle.
