New Manchester Jaguar (Douglasville, GA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting McIntosh Chiefs (Peachtree City, GA), 58-43 in a non-league bout.
With the triumph, New Manchester moves its record to 18-4 on the year. The Jaguar travel to Paulding County (Dallas, GA) to face the Patriots in a AAAAAA Region 5 game on Tuesday, February 6. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 12-12. Paulding County lost 51-46 in their recent league game against Douglas County (Douglasville, GA)
With the defeat, McIntosh moves to 7-13 on the year. The Chiefs host Northside (Columbus, GA) to face the Patriots in a AAAAA Region 3 game on Tuesday, February 6. The Patriots enter the game with a record of 8-14. Northside won 65-58 in their recent league game against Northgate (Newnan, GA)
