Fans at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) and the host Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL), saw Oswego's basketball squad overcome Metea Valley by a tally of 54-40.

With the victory, Oswego improves its record to 7-22 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to DeKalb (DeKalb, IL) to confront the Barbs in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 5. The Barbs come into the challenge with a record of 15-13. DeKalb lost 57-49 in their recent league challenge against Naperville Central (Naperville, IL)

Next up, the Mustangs confront the Naperville Central Redhawks (Naperville, IL) in a DuPage Valley challenge, on Tuesday, February 6. Metea Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-18 season record.
