The Morristown-Beard Crimson (Morristown, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting Montclair Kimberley Academy Cougars (Montclair, NJ), 45-36 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Crimson (7-12) will now prepare for their test against Boonton (Boonton, NJ). The Bombers go into the non-league test with a 3-12 record. In their last test, Boonton went down by Wallkill Valley (Hamburg, NJ), 58-32, in a non-league test.
The Cougars now own a 10-10 record. They play next when they travel to Montclair for a non-league test on Monday, February 5. Montclair Kimberley Academy will encounter a Mounties squad coming off a 54-41 non-league loss to Nutley (Nutley, NJ). The Mounties record now stands at 10-7.
