The Oxford Wolverines basketball team scored 64 points and restricted the visiting Wheeler Lions to 43 in the Wolverines non-league victory on Saturday.

The Wolverines now sport a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ansonia for a Naugatuck Valley - 2 contest on Tuesday, February 6. Oxford will battle a Chargers team coming off a 59-51 non-league loss to St. Paul Catholic (Bristol, CT). The Chargers record now stands at 12-5.

The Lions (3-14) will now prepare for their contest against Montville (Oakdale, CT). The Wolves come into the non-league contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Montville was routed by Waterford (Waterford, CT), 49-24, in a non-league contest.
